Colophon

A record of how this site was built and a short note on who built it.

About

Korab Eland is a builder, operator, and writer working at the intersection of product, strategy, and AI execution. He cares about communicating strategy clearly, leading with data, and helping the people around him do their best work.

He is most at home turning ambiguous ideas into working systems and writing about the parts that surprised him along the way. The default voice here is understated, specific, and human — closer to a field journal than a brand page.

Influences

The thinkers below shape how Korab approaches work, communication, and ethics. The full list lives at identity/influences.md in the parent brand repo and is read into this page at build time.

  • Tiago Forte — PARA + Building a Second Brain — capture, organise, distill, express.
  • Rick Rubin — The creative act as a lifelong practice of noticing.
  • Jony Ive — Care for materials, restraint, and the quiet craft of working things.
  • Cal Newport — Deep work, digital minimalism, and knowledge-work productivity.

Tools and stack

The site is small on purpose. The visible surface is two pages at launch; the build pipeline does most of the work behind the scenes.

  • Astro 6 — page routing, server output via Vercel adapter
  • Tailwind CSS 4 — CSS-first configuration; tokens in src/styles/tokens.css
  • shadcn/ui + React 19 — interactive islands where they earn their weight
  • Keystatic — local-git-backed CMS for long-form posts
  • Vercel — hosting, preview deploys, edge functions
  • Claude Code + a small team of subagents — the build crew running this site
